Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already been offered a variety of television roles which included the leading role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her critically acclaimed performance in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like the role of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge in the critically and commercially successful Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominees featuring the divas. Alexandra was involved in a variety of significant international and national productions throughout her career. Among others, these projects include the British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she was a member of both jury for the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
