Matthew Matt James, born December 5, 1991 on the 5th of December, 1991 in North Carolina. James is the child of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. Her mother is caucasian and his father Nigerian. He graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School and furthered to Wake Forest University where he received a Bachelor's degree from Economics in 2015. James was initially known for his role as The Bachelorette's reality TV star. In 2020, he was chosen to be the next bachelor on The Bachelor's season 25 becoming one of the very initial African American male lead which was later aired in 2021. James is a great fit for this role as he's tall, handsome and humorous. Rachael Krakconnell, who he had chosen as his partner through the remainder of the season. In the 30th season (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, He competed against famous dancing star Arnold. James along with Arnold finished 12th place.
