Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director who is best known as the star of Birdman. Michael Keaton plays an actor who has a wide range of skills. A multi-faceted actor, he is also adept at playing comedic and dramatic roles. While still in his teens the actor began developing an interest in acting and performing. In the later years, when he was a youngster, he attempted stand-up humor. The comedy venture did not go well, but it was the beginning of his acting career. To be successful as a comedian and performer, he was hired in the role of a cameraman with a local cable television station. As he was doing the work he started to realise that he wanted to be present on camera. He was then able to secure an appearance on television and was in numerous episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. A natural actor, he became popular quickly on television. Following the success of his acting career in film, his humorous performance earned him lots of fame. In Tim Burton's Batman, he played the superhero of the same name. In time he grew up acting as an actor and started doing productions and even directing films. For his role in Birdman (2014), he was awarded numerous nominations and awards.
